Crew chief Matt Gregory told us that the propeller blade broke, ruining the shaft and it did break the gearbox.  This will put the Miss Ahern Rentals on the beach for the remainder of the Madison Regatta.

Driver David Bryant was battling Jimmy King in the Miss Chrysler Jeep going into turn one of lap three when the boat went straight into the escape lane well beyond the outer white bouy of the course.
